Pooja Chopra, MD, is a board-certified pain management specialist at Bux Pain Management in Lexington, Cynthiana, and Danville, Kentucky. Dr. Chopra brings more than eight years of experience in pain medicine, anesthesiology, physical medicine, and rehabilitation to the practice.
Dr. Chopra earned her bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of Missouri–Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating in 2014, she completed a pain management fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Today, she provides exceptional pain care to men and women experiencing chronic and acute pain. The causes she treats range from arthritis to lumbar spinal stenosis.
At Bux Pain Management, Dr. Chopra uses cutting-edge technology to help her patients experience lasting relief from pain. She does this without the need for invasive surgery or potentially addictive pain medications. Sacroiliac (SI) joint injections, neurostimulation, and facet joint injections are just a few nonsurgical treatments Dr. Chopra uses at the practice.
Dr. Chopra’s dedication to relieving pain, restoring range of motion, and improving her patients’ mobility and flexibility extends to minimally invasive surgery, including the Vertiflex™ Procedure and mild® procedure.
